Weekly Re-cap

After voicing my dislike for stinky smells Kaden said " You should probably get a new son, I stink a lot."

When we got in the car and I said it was so cold I was turning into a Popsicle Kaden said " If you turned into a popsicle I would never eat you, I would just put you in the sun and let you melt."

After church Taycee got out of class before Kaden so she went into his class to get him and when he saw her her ran to her gave her a huge hug and said "My princess!"

Taycee announced to her whole primary class that there was a baby in mommy's tummy. So I guess the news is out in the ward.

Taycee also prayed in our family prayers that we could give the baby in my tummy a name so he would know he had a name. Apparently she is really concerned about that.

I ate 3 meals and kept 3 meals down today... knock on wood folks but we might be on the up and up.

Today for singing time I let the kids write down their favorite primary song on a piece of paper. We sang a song of my choice and the class that sang the loudest got to make a snowball out of their paper and throw it at me. Then I would pick up one of their snowballs and we would sing the song written down and choose another class who sang the best. The kids have never sand so well or loudly. I got pelted with about 40 snowballs.

and just for your viewing pleasure here are a few pictures...

Funnies

I added these to my blog post but for those of you who already read that I thought I would add them here to.

Some more Kaden funnies from the last little while,

The other night I asked him why he was having such a hard time listening lately, at first he said "I don't know" then about 5 minutes later he came back to me and said "Hey mom! I know what I am having a hard time listening, because my ears are telling my brain something different than what you tell me."

At dinner he didn't want to finish his food and said "Mom my stomach is telling me it will not eat this food." I said, "well tell your stomach it doesn't have a choice." He repeated the words to his stomach, took a deep sigh and said "sorry mom, my stomach just isn't listening to you. I AM, but my stomach is not."

We had some company over for dinner. We made a roast and I did up some fruit cocktail. While we were preparing dinner Kaden asked me several times what it all was. I told him the meat was called Roast Beef and the glasses had fruit cocktail in them. When we were all sitting around the dinner table and Kaden had his first bite he all but yelled in his most excited voice, "YUMMM! This roast cock beef is really good!" I quickly corrected him and then explained to everyone at the table how that combination came about.

Kaden and Taycee were playing temple run on the I-Pad. Taycee was playing and Kaden was watching and I hear him say. "Woah Taycee you are really good at this. I think I want to marry you you are so good." Later she was playing again and died and she said "Kaden, I died do you still want to marry me?" To which he just said "no."

Hunter Loses a Tooth

Hunter has finally decided to let us pull out a tooth that has been loose for a month or so.  So.... tonight while he is sleeping it will be yanked.  Here's a pic with the usual dental floss preparation.

The Clayton Clan

Hey fam. I don't have any time to do another post today so I thought I would just copy the link from our family blog post http://chrisclaytonfamily.blogspot.com/2013/01/bbbrrrr.html Love you all!

My life is so boring

Nothing real exciting going on in my life. You know me, I'm just kind of a boring person. I never really do anything fun or cool.

The only thing I can think of to mention is maybe these flowers I got from a cute boy. He is a real sweetheart. Oh, and I guess the MTC is worth mentioning too...it is SO awesome! I can't believe I actually get paid to be around these missionaries! DREAM JOB!!! And....WONDERFUL NEWS!! In about a week I will no longer be scheduled as a nurse at Tiny Tots, but will be used only as needed. Yes! No more graveyards!

I enjoy participating in institute each week and I was called to be on the activities committee. thats a new one. I'm excited about it because it isn't a music calling. I sent in my application to be an EFY counselor last week. I hope to do that this summer, too! Sara Fisher and I are doing a double date this week and cooking Filipino food. I know you're jealous, mom and dad! ;)

Is everyone bored reading this yet? I will try to be a little more active this week so that I have something exciting to write about next time. :D Much love!

My Desktop Background

Love these kiddos. Can't wait to add mine to the lot.

Heather: Surprise Visit

When mom, dad, and Hunter showed up at our door I couldn't help but start crying! BEST. SURPRISE. EVER! Those sneaky little buggers. We had a grand ol' time while they were here. I almost started crying again when they left, I didn't want to see them go!

In other news, we finally got a bed :) And we got a couch & chair set just today! So we are super excited to have some furniture. Too bad we couldn't get them sooner so our visitors wouldn't have had to sit on fold-up chairs all weekend.

"Dad says we can't go for our river walk cause it's only 19 degrees outside!"

Standing in front of our apartment complex! Heading out on our river walk.

Hunter... just being Hunter.

Smiling Babies

Lately we have been getting some big smiles out of Bennett and Cooper. Bennett can be especially happy after a good sleep. This is a video that was captured of Bennett this morning around 5 a.m.

Mom: Visit to Boise

This weekend Dad, Hunter and I went to Boise to surprise Heather.  Evan was in on it.  We just went to church together, and now we're making dinner.  Disappointingly, it's just as cold here! BRRrrrrrrrr!  We'll stay another night and go home tomorrow.  They have a nice apartment in a nice area, and it's fun to visit them!

Welcome
