Girls Retreat Update

Ok, girls.  I have an update on our getaway.  I have reservations for the Shilo Inn, which I chose mostly for its location and price not its luxuriousness.  It does have an indoor pool/hot-tub.  It has a continental breakfast.  It's located right downtown by temple square or thereabouts.  I got two rooms so we don't have to squish.  Check-in time is 4:00 (bummer) but how about we try to meet there at about 2:00?  Are Jenny and Katie coming together? Or is Jason dropping off the two of you on his way north? Heather and I could pick up Jill.  Anyway, if the rooms aren't ready by 2, then I'm sure they'd still let us park and we could go walk around or go shopping or whatever until the room is ready.  Check-out is at noon.  So be thinking of what you want to do, and where you want to eat dinner.  I'm giving you each $25 that you MUST spend on yourself... so be thinking of what you might want.  By the way, the hotel and dinner are on me as well. You deserve to be spoiled for a day.  Looking forward to it!

Not Boring Anymore!

Last night I grabbed Dwight's hand because I couldn't wait any longer for him to make a move.
It has been over three years since my hand was held by a real man. It felt pretty good. :D
I wish you could know him like I know him.

Mr. Epperson (Dwight) has already asked me to go with him on Valentines Day. More juicy stories to come. ;)

The Twins Have a New Friend!

In our last ward we became good friends with the Porters. They hadn't been married for much longer than us, and we were all in the same stage of life. That's why it was so fun to find out that they were going to be having a baby just a few months after the twins. Last night Cooper and Bennett got to meet their new friend Marshall Porter. He is three weeks old now, and noticeably smaller than the twins. It was a good reminder of how much the twins have grown! It was fun to swap baby stories with the Porters and we had an enjoyable night catching up on each other's lives.

Webre Family Vacation

So I was wondering if we wanted to have a "Webre" family annual vacation.  And if so, where would we go?  Looking for suggestions.  Kind of wondered about the condos at BearLake Ideal Beach.  Lots of grass and sidewalk.  Maybe could take the rinker (boat).  Other suggestions?  Dates that would be good for you or bad for you?  It's good to make reservations now for these kinds of things.  Let me know.

Girls' Retreat

Looking forward to our Girls' Retreat on Feb 22nd and Feb 23rd.  However, as I looked at places to stay in Park City, it was VERY expensive.  Must be something going on up there that weekend, or is it just the snow and skiing season?  Anyway, I think I'll change the location of our retreat to Salt Lake, and we can hang out at the City Creek Center instead.  I'll try to get an indoor pool.  So we'll try to be there by check-in time on the 22nd and be home in time for Heather's Baby Shower on the 23rd.  Jenny and Jill, do you want to be thinking about invitations for that?  I'll think on the food aspect.  Love you all!

The DeLong Fam

Well... nothing out of the ordinary has happened lately, but we're excited that it's February! The past few days have been quite a bit warmer, and we're hoping it'll stick around.

There are about a million things to do and buy before Ayla comes and only 8 weeks (or less) left to go! Yesterday we bought a play-pen/bassinet combo and a desk from a lady on Craigslist. But they reek of smoke, so hopefully we can find a way to take care of that asap! Any tricks or suggestions?

If anybody wants to go on a 'lil road trip to Boise, I'd love some help decorating my apartment! :) In return I will provide delicious foods and change your children's diapers! ;) deal? ...deal.
