Heber Project Update plus Clara Fun

Look at our house!!! This pic was taken a week ago so I think they'e actually finished framing it by now. We'll get it sheeted and probably fly trusses up there in two weeks!

Our current projected move-in date is October! That's exciting for us because it used to be January 2019 at one point. 😦
That's Josh up there. Lately we've been doing a lot of shingling. Our primary tasks are green plate and truss prep but we often jump to whatever tasks become the priority (such as shingling)

Putting in the floor joists on our house.

Our house is #6 of 10. The first 4 houses are all framed, sheeted, and we've almost finished shingles on three of the roofs. Those houses are pretty much ready to have contractors come in and do all the stuff they do on the inside.

Workin in the snow!
We have our complaints about the program, but we're still glad we're doing it. Heber is gorgeous and we're already making friends with some great people in our group. Big plus! Instant friends when we move in (plus a few enemies ;-))!

The group that finished before us had their open house at the end of December.  These are super close to the colors I chose for our kitchen. I'm not sure I like the combo and I can still make changes. What do you think?? I think the counter looks weird with the floor.

Lastly, just decided to put together a bunch of little video clips of Clara from over the past few months. She's a funny girl. Enjoy!

The question with the floor and counter is what would you do instead? Is there any better option?
